Program of personality disorders
What is it?
The personality is made up of different psychological traits or characteristics through which we construct aspects as important as the concept of ourselves, the concept of others, how to face problems or how we establish relationships.
In some people these traits are excessively rigid, inflexible and maladaptive. They are people who can lead a normal life but not satisfactory, with a high level of suffering both in them and in their family members, who usually perceive with greater clarity the exaggerated character of the person suffering from a personality disorder.
Treatment
It should be an integral treatment that addresses the disorder from a psychiatric, psychological and psychoeducational perspective and that encompasses not only the symptoms that the person presents but also the distorted personality traits that cause them.

Psychogeriatric program
What is it?
Longevity is one of the characteristics of the current world. In this context, the health problems of the elderly, especially their psychological dimension, have become crucial.
The aging process itself causes a series of changes in brain neurotransmission that make these people more sensitive when it comes to presenting depressive symptoms.
In addition, there are other social changes that are important, such as those related to loss of status, work, economic status and, logically, the loss of relatives and loved ones who are dying. Finally, the person, from the psychological point of view, is forced to make a very important adaptation effort for all these changes and this can produce a stress that increases the vulnerability of the person.
For all these reasons, it is important that people aged 65 and over carry out a check-up as prevention or perform a treatment to improve their quality of life, autonomy, channeling of affective needs and rehabilitation of cognitive functions.
Treatment
The treatment includes:
· Periodic medical consultations.
· Life activation workshops.
· Workshops for caregivers.
